Gilma Teodora Gylytė is a co-founder and partner of DO Architects, one of the leading architecture and urban design studios in the Baltic region. Educated at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (B.Arch. 2006, M.Arch. 2008), her award-winning master's thesis earned top recognition from the Lithuanian Union of Architects. Renowned for transforming outdated or Soviet-era spaces into vibrant, human‑scaled environments, her notable projects include MO Museum (in collaboration with Daniel Libeskind), Ogmios City, Pelėdžiukas Kindergarten, Vainiai Palace, and thePilaitė Gymnasium.Her work consistently earns regional and European accolades, including multiple nominations for the Mies van der Rohe Award and top honors from Lithuania’s Contemporary Architecture Awards.
